Understanding the Differences Between Programmatic Roles
I recently noticed an agency looking for entry-level roles in programmatic advertising and another role focused on programmatic strategy and activation. Although the job titles were later removed, I remember both roles required similar qualifications, with a few differences detailed in the job descriptions. This made me curious about what distinguishes these two functions. Additionally, I'm trying to figure out which role might offer a more laid-back work environment. Lastly, if someone wanted to transition from programmatic advertising to areas like paid social, paid search, media planning, SEO, or SEM, would a background in strategy and activation provide a smoother transition?
