Tips for Custom Intent Audiences in DV360 Ads

Hello everyone! When creating custom intent audiences, Google advises using 10-15 keywords, as this is deemed to be broad match. I am wondering if restricting it to just 15 keywords will affect the reach. A colleague of mine suggests using over 100 keywords, but I'm unsure if this will actually aid in scaling the audience. What are your thoughts on this?
