Navigating the Challenges of a Sales Role in Ad Tech
Having transitioned from a media planner to a programmatic buyer and now working in ad tech sales, I find this role quite challenging. While the day-to-day tasks are less demanding than those on the agency side, the pressure to generate revenue is immense. Surprisingly, I am earning less than I did previously. How long did it take for your sales role to gain traction? Some colleagues mentioned experiencing immediate success, while others had to wait over a year. Given the current economic climate, I can't afford to wait that long. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
