Switching from TTD to StackAdapt: Insights and Considerations
Our agency has been using TTD for most of our campaigns, but now we're transitioning to StackAdapt. I looked through some discussions about this and still have some questions. I’m quite impressed by StackAdapt’s integrated targeting features compared to TTD, where we rely on a third-party provider for things like DID and geo-targeting. What stands out for me is that StackAdapt offers detailed campaign information—such as DOOH screen locations, industry benchmarks, and extensive first-party targeting—at no extra cost, which seems less accessible with TTD. I’d love to hear your thoughts on this. While TTD seems to excel in third-party data inventory and lower CPMs—likely due to their fee structure—I’m thinking of moving our smaller campaigns to StackAdapt. Their reporting and other features are compelling enough for me to consider using them for larger clients too. Share your insights; I want to hear everything. Side note—I'm not a fan of the new TTD view with the periodic table layout. It might push me to switch entirely once that's permanent.
