Understanding conversion windows between DV360 and CM360 can significantly improve purchase tracking. In CM360, conversion windows are set at the advertiser level and affect all activities. This can be problematic if you want a longer window for purchases compared to other actions like page views. For example, you might want a 30-day window for purchases and a 2-day window for page views. When you set up a line item in DV360 and select your floodlight for conversion tracking, you can also adjust the conversion windows for specific activities. If you extend the window in DV360 to, say, 30 days for purchases and 7 days for page views, it will apply to that activity. However, the conversion window settings in DV360 will still be subject to the caps set at the advertiser level in CM360.
