Integrating GA4 with DV360 for Form Fill Retargeting

Greetings, everyone! I've recently come back to the world of programmatic advertising after a significant period working with other platforms. I'm now finding my way again. My current client aims to use DV360 for retargeting users who have completed form fills. They've already established these audiences in their GA4 property. My question is whether simply linking GA4 to DV360 suffices for exporting these retargeting audiences, as mentioned in existing resources, or if it would be more beneficial to install a counter floodlight tag on their website and operate with that instead. I tend to believe that GA4 integrates smoothly and all first-party audience data is usable, but I want to be sure. Thanks a lot for your help!
